The Fat Dog
The Fat Dog offers delicious food, a creative and delicious craft cocktail program, a versatile wine list, and a truly excellent craft beer selection. They have been a neighborhood favorite in the North Hollywood Arts district since 2015. The Fat Dog is open for both indoor and patio dining, 7 days a week.

Blue Dog Beer Tavern
With a special menu just for dogs, you know this is the place to be!
Opening in 2009, and quickly becoming a neighborhood institution, Blue Dog Beer Tavern was born out of a love of dogs, Belgian style beer, and classic American cuisine. They strive to create a safe, casual, and authentic “tavern/ public house” experience every day.
What’s more? Blue Dog has been female-led and managed since May 2020!
Highland Park Brewery
Highland Park Brewery has a simple goal of making excellent beer. Their journey in beer focuses on good people, discovery, adventure, and, quite simply, fun. Their world of fresh hoppy beers, crisp lagers, bold stouts, and adventurous mixed culture fermentation is accompanied by unique processes, wacky microbes, and local ingredients among other things.
They have a tasting room with a food menu and of course funky beers to choose from.

Home State
Their home kitchen isn’t open yet, but they’ll let you carry food from the many food trucks or restaurants in the neighbourhood into the venue space. They do have more than 15 types of beers to choose from including some special recommendations by the brewers themselves. The idea is to get into a “home state of mind” and make everybody comfortable, and cozy.

The Rose Venice
The Rose Venice is an iconic restaurant in the heart of Venice, serving locals and travelers alike since 1979. Now, years later, chef Jason Neroni has kept the roots of The Rose that the community knows and loves, while introducing his seasonal, globally influenced cuisine. The bakery celebrates American classics, as well as some of the original Rose bakery classics re-conceptualized with their innovative techniques. The sprawling space includes indoor and outdoor dining with a beer garden, bakery, cocktail bar, and coffee bar.

Angel City Brewery
This venue in the Los Angeles Arts District is both brewery and canvas, the center of a revival for the city’s artists. It’s an LA that’s as ambitious as it is diverse — and the beer is no exception. They have beers on tap, kegs for you to buy and events at the venue . Pablo Romero, owner of Downtown Taco, has been serving up tacos at the brewery ever since they opened their doors in 2013.
