Spread over thirty hectares of land, the vineyards of Alvia consist of Tempranillo, Graciano Garnacha, Viura and Malvasia. The vineyards are scattered in different locations in the area of the Sierra Cantabria, in multiple towns that are influenced highly by the Atlantic climate. Bodega Alvia also has their vineyards in Huercanos, Cenicero, Ventosa and Upper Najerilla and in all of these vineyards, they take into account the selection, microclimate, plot orientation and the productivity of the strains before starting on grape production.
Livius brand is a collection of 5 single varietal wines to reflect the different character of each native grape. All of them are award-winning wines and very well rated by international critics and publications such as James Suckling, Tim Atkin, Mundusvini, Wine Enthusiast, Decanter, Berliner Wein Trophy and Selections Mondiales des Vins in Canada.
